After gathering the footage, we were assigned to make the video. After becoming familiar with Final Cut Pro, I was able to swiftly move through the editing process. Essentially, FCP is a more advanced version of iMovie. Dragging titles and filters was a piece of cake. It was fun to be able to use some footage I had actually taken to edit with. The editing process was really smooth and I think the final piece shows that.

The video scavenger hunt has been very fun because it allowed my partner and I to experiment using different shots. We got a taste of the cameras and how to white balance, adjust the iris and focus, and record in positions corresponding to the shot type. This has been the most technical project so far, due to it being based around our ability to take creative and interesting shots. Hopefully, when we learn how to use Final Cut Pro, we will make a smooth and cool video containing our shots.
For the first project in Broadcast Technology, our class made an iAM movie to showcase who we are as people. This was an easy project in my opinion due to my experience in iMovie over the last five years. In the video, I had several categories about who I was such as photographer, traveler, and foodie. The project was really fun to make because I got to take a look at some of the older photos I had on my camera roll. I did have to cut a few photos that weren't the best resolution/were harder to crop. However, I think the final project looked really good. This project was a good first exercise for this class, and I'm excited to see what will come in the future.
